Below is a list of things we think go in in Bingley each week.

Where links are available we’ve put them in. We appreciate that finding out more information is not always easy, but probably best to try to double check before turning up.

Monday

All Together Now
Yorkshire Community Choir based in Baildon, Bingley, Harrogate & Skipton.
10.00-11.30am, Bingley Methodist Church

Bradford Airedale Youth Choir
An exciting group of contemporary choirs for young people aged 6-26 years, rehearsing in Bingley on Monday evenings.

Pick up and Play Session
Join in with or just come and listen to traditional folk music played by local musicians.
approx 8pm, The Brown Cow, Bingley.

Voices of Yorkshire
A fun, friendly and relaxed choir. We welcome all abilities.
8-9pm, Bradford And Bingley Rugby Club

First Monday of the month

Bingley First Monday Folk
A little folk club featuring top quality musicians and the best raffle in Yorkshire.
7pm Ryshworth Club, Crossflatts

Third Monday of the month

Folk at the Flappit
A very laid back (almost horizontal!) acoustic sing-around. Open to all abilities.
Between 7:30 pm and 10pm at The Flappit Inn (A629 Keighley to Halifax road, near Cullingworth)

Tuesday

Bingley Tower Bell Ringers
We ring on Sundays, 9.45-10.30am for morning service and practice on Tuesday evenings, 7.30-9.00pm. We are always willing to welcome new recruits to train and become part of our team.
7:30pm All Saints Parish Church, Bingley

Cullingworth Community Choir
A fun choir for anyone that wants to get involved.
6:30pm Cullingworth Methodist Church, Cullingworth

Wednesday

Bingley Singing For Fun
A friend group of people that meet each week to sing for fun.
11:30 - 12:30, Bingley Arts Centre

Bingley Handbell Ringers

Cullingworth Ukulele Group
Free ukulele lessons for beginners.
10:30am at St John’s Room in Cullingworth.

A fun group of like minded people who enjoy playing UKULELE. Everyone welcome.

Second Thursday of the month

The Shed Planners Association - BFD
An open mic and jam session at the Highfield, Idle, Bradford. From 9pm on the second Thursday of every month. Run by Bingley musicians. PA, drums and backline provided.

Third Thursday of the month

Bingley Ukulele Group
A fun group of like minded people who enjoy playing UKULELE. Everyone welcome.

Saturday

First Saturday of the month

Jam Session
For acoustic instruments (or lightly amplified electric instruments using battery power).
This is a Jam Session where somebody leads-off a song and everybody joins in … quite a different beast to Open Mic events where songs etc are performed.

Sunday

Second Sunday of the month

Buskers (open mic)
An open mic platform for local artists to show us what they have. Usually a 15 minute slot and you can do what you like performance wise, sing, play, tell jokes or whatever!
